What People's Say About Place

We would give 6 stars if we could. This Retaurant is a TREASURE, food is layered w/unique - even funky - Latin flavors that you won’t find ANY where else. We travel a lot and are always on the lookout for local food. Mayan Cafe Bonita Springs is among the BEST meals we had in all of 2018. Service is equal to the food, don’t be afraid to ask for explanations and/or recommendations. Raphael our server was spot on in suggesting what we should try during our first visit. We’ve already been back for our second visit - and our third won’t be far behind.

Awesome hidden gem. Quality authentic Guatemalan food. Friendly people. Loved it! Definitely my place to go when craving chapin dishes.

Hidden Treasure with a talented cook and warm hearted service . We loved this restaurant near wonder gardens and went here after our visit to the animal park. It’s a simple but warm family restaurant where you feel welcome. The Food is outstanding and everything was homemade and of great quality. The staff was very Child friendly. Basic knowledge of Spanish is recommendable but you can navigate with their English menu. We can’t wait to go back.

Hello I am the Daughter of the Manager (Julio Mendez). thank you all for the good reviews our family is not anymore in Florida but hope the rest of the staff is still very great also on Sundays before (very busy) You can see 2 kids sitting 1 Girl 1 Boy but that was only in 2018 that you could see us kids...

Very family oriented place with good food. Simple but very good.

Blown away. I was expecting good Guatemalan food but the care taken with every dish, from the sides to the mains, left me wishing for a second stomach. I cannot adequately convey how much I enjoyed my meal here and look forward to my return.

This was a last minute decision for dinner and we were glad we passed by. It's not impressive from the outside and isn't in the best area, but the food was delicious and very reasonable. The service was friendly and fast.

I don't often leave a restaurant and instantly leave a review, in fact I don't know that I have ever left a review of a restaurant, but this one I absolutely have to! We just left and the meal was incredible... We had a variety of food and not one thing didn't taste like the best thing I have eaten so far this year, first it was the steak, then the chicken and by the time we were done I couldn't decide what tasted best... All was incredible... I will be back, this week, I will bring friends, I will bring family, I will bring my staff, heck I'd bring my dog if I had one and it was a good enough excuse to eat here... Bravo Mayan Cafe!
